I cannot even begin to tell you how glad I am to be back in Romania. Where to start? Well, how about at the airport in Bucharest. Ana, a student from this summer, was waiting for me and a few minutes later Ramona and Iulian picked us up. As we were heading to the car, Cosmin and Marta, their two children, and another couple's children surprised us at the airport. Marta brought chocolates...hopefully I can share some with you all when I get home. We drove to Brasov...and it was a beautiful drive...the sun was shining, the weather was BEAUTIFUL (thankfully, no 5*F weather now). We ate dinner, unpacked and I crashed!
Monday morning came and I was nervous and stressed. I didn't relax very well on the planes coming over and it was a difficult adjustment to fly in one day and teach the next. Ramona let me use the English Club materials I sent her, which are great. I was sooo nervous teaching two class each night and we had 40 students signed up in each class....way more than I was expecting. But, God was (is!) gracious and the first night went well!
Tuesday, though, I woke up with a migraine. I had already taken one Maxalt Monday night and it didn't help. So I took a second one and a hot shower. We were expecting the other ministry partners to come over at 2, but they surprised us by coming early...and bringing Cosmin and Tincuța (friends from Bucharest). We sang songs and had a Bible study. It was a complete blessing. Ramona and I had to leave the meeting to get to class on time. By the time we got to class, I realized my migraine was gone! Another miracle!
